TURKEY MEATBALLS WITH GRAVY

Ingredients:

2 beaten eggs

3/4 cup seasoned bread crumbs

1/2 cup chopped onion

1/2 cup finely chopped celery

2 tablespoons chopped parsley

1/2 teaspoon poultry seasoning

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/8 teaspoon garlic powder

2 pounds ground raw turkey

1 to 2 teaspoons vegetable oil

1 can (10-3/4 ounces) undiluted cream of mushroom soup

1 cup water

1 envelope (1-5/16 ounces) turkey gravy mix

1/2 teaspoon shredded lemon peel

1/4 teaspoon crushed dried thyme

1 bay leaf

Hot cooked mashed potatoes or buttered noodles

Directions:

      In a large bowl combine eggs, bread crumbs, onion, celery, parsley, 
poultry seasoning, pepper and garlic. Add ground turkey and mix well. Shape 
into
1-inch balls. In a large skillet brown meatballs in the cooking oil. Drain 
meatballs. Transfer to Crock-Pot. In a bowl combine soup, water, gravy mix,
lemon peel, thyme and bay leaf. Pour over meatballs. Cover and cook on Low 
for 6 to 8 hours or on High for 3 to 4 hours. Discard bay leaf. Serve with 
mashed
potatoes or buttered noodles.

Serves 8.
