Enjoy all the flavors of lasagna in this hearty Sausage Lasagna Soup. .

 

Ingredients

1lb bulk Italian sausage Save $ 

1/2cup chopped onion Save $ 

1 clove garlic, finely chopped Save $ 

2cups sliced fresh mushrooms Save $ 

1 box Hamburger HelperT lasagna Save $ 

2cans (14.5 oz each ) Muir GlenT organic diced tomatoes with Italian herbs,
undrained Save $ 

2tablespoons Muir GlenT tomato paste (from 6-oz can) Save $

1/2teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes Save $ 

1/4teaspoon ground pepper Save $ 

2cups baby spinach Save $ 

1/2cup shredded Parmesan cheese Save $ 

 

Steps

.  1. In 5-quart Dutch oven or saucepan, cook sausage, onion and garlic over
medium-high heat 4 to 6 minutes, stirring occasionally, until sausage is
thoroughly cooked; drain. Add mushrooms; cook 2 minutes longer. 

.  2. Stir in sauce mix (from Hamburger HelperT box), tomatoes, tomato
paste, water, pepper flakes and pepper. Heat to boiling, stirring
constantly. 

.  3. Reduce heat. Cover; simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. 

.  4. Stir in uncooked pasta (from Hamburger HelperT box) and spinach.
Cover; cook 10 minutes longer or until pasta is tender. Sprinkle with
Parmesan cheese.
