Hi Bryan:
Now that I am a little bit more focused, I realize I have been bitten
by this before. gmp built on a G5 won't run properly on a G4, so this
might be something similar. I'm not really sure how to deal with
this, except to build everything on a G4.
If someone already has that, could you email it to me please? I'll
try to use libtool to edit the path.

i have NOT followed every instruction on Bill's pages, only the one
i listed, so perhaps this X11-related - i can't tell - any pointers
appreciated.
