You can colour by chain, that will make the protein and DNA have different colours.
in 0.5.1 you can use CA/Backbone representation (which does a P trace for nucleotides).
in 0.5 you cannot represent a ribbon - the CCP4 tool for would be CCP4MG. Paul.
