I think it's awful - after about 10 minutes I switched back to the old gnome UI. I still don't understand what exactly they changed or what the advantage is supposed to be*, but for someone who's actually comfortable with Linux already it is a huge step backwards in functionality and makes the OS more difficult to use. If this is a reliable indication of where Ubuntu is going in the future, I need to find a new favorite distribution. -Nat (* presumably it's supposed to appeal more to Windows users, but this is a lost cause anyway.)
