Hello everybody,

I need some input on passive (polarized) 3D displays. I read a lot about Zalman, but on the pymolwiki I read that those displays are not supported any longer. But I'd prefer a Fujitsu P23T 3D monitor anyways. Now I've serveral questions concerning this:

- Will any passive 3D screen work with Coot or only Zalman?

- Is a special graphics card needed for passive screens. I know active glasses require NVidia Quadro cards.

- Is it possible to make this screen work in 3D with an Intel HD4000 graphics card? I've got HDMI, DVI and Displayport output.

I've an older Quadro FX 1400 graphics card if the HD4000 is not working, but in my special case the HD4000 would be preferable.

I'm using Linux - as most of you probably do - but OS X is running on the machine too. So if any of those operating systems supports passive 3D with Intel HD4000 I'd be very happy to hear about this.

Thanks
Jochen
