Dear Grant,

I 've been also struggling with that issue, unsuccessfully whatever I tried
to resolve it. However, I did come around with a not so elegant way. I
installed on a virtual machine windows XP, where coot works perfectly and I
do the coot part there. All is required is a license for windows XP.
This is not a real solution to the problem, but at least I can do my work.
cheers,
Petros
