Dear COOTers,
I don't know how many of you use Wincoot in stereo, but maybe someone
can help me understand what is going on.
Basically, the NVIDIA 3D vision system in my windows box stopped working
properly after a recent OS upgrade to Windows 8 and more recently still
to 8.1. I have a Quadro FX380 and a Samsung 2233 120Hz monitor and this
configuration was working perfectly in Windows 7. However, after the OS
upgrade the emitter just behaves erratically whenever I activate stereo:
the double picture appears on the screen but since the emitter is not on
(bright green light) I cannot see in stereo. To make matters even
stranger, the emitter light occasionally turns off completely or blinks
between bright and dark green (on/off) when stereo is not in use.
I have tried a fresh reinstall of the most recent NVIDIA drivers but to
no avail.
Any insight and help will be greatly appreciated.
