Would any one share with his build-it wrapper on
CentOS7, and what exact extra packages had to be installed?
I have looked in INSTALL, and did not find Centos/RHEL equivavlent for
libc6-dev, I think I have rest. During the building libgd, I got:

lists.mod is related to raster3d - it (raster3d) is a nice to have but not
vital.
Fixing the raster3d builds (I get problems too on some system) in on the
show-stopper
list for 0.8.9.3, FWIW.
And few warnings earlier, which seems to be connected to C99 compiler
(it is 2019, right?)

However, if someone can share a working recipe, it would be very
appreciated; at best, including "enhanced ligand features". I am not
that skilled in custom compiling, and time-to-play is more and more
limited...
OK, this is more serious. The ligand-related dependencies are more tricky to
install - I have been using a separate script to do this for years. I hereby
commit to integrating this into the main build script.
So, Jan, I suggest that you put this project on hold until I fix up the
infrastructure
(for you and others). Thanks for your prompt.
