control of atom size is great! And also thanks for the new features. I
am checking right now a low resolution structure from 2014 and with the
new features of coot (and refmac and phenix) there are plenty of
improvements in the low resolution structure.

I too was a bit frustrated by the small waters. They need (needed) to
be bigger than regular Oxygen atoms. I've just committed a patch. The
atom size is not under your control. Do you think that it should be?
Apart from this, there are a lot of new features in coot 0.9, a huge
