What is the configure command line to drive the compile process? I have used the following but it errors out.
I had to do a complete build of COOT from scratch. I seem to have all prerequisites installed and the configure completes using this line. ./configure "CXXFLAGS=-g -O2" CFLAGS=-fPIC --enable-shared --prefix=/home/gmadise1/COOT/coot-0.9.6 I executed the make and I cannot seem to trigger resolutions to the following: c++ -std=gnu++11 -DPACKAGE_NAME=\"coot\" -DPACKAGE_TARNAME=\"coot\" -DPACKAGE_VERSION=\"0.9.6\" -DPACKAGE_STRING=\"coot\ 0.9.6\" -DPACKAGE_BUGREPORT=\"\" -DPACKAGE_URL=\"\" -DPACKAGE=\"coot\" -DVERSION=\"0.9.6\" -DSTDC_HEADERS=1 -DHAVE_SYS_TYPES_H=1 -DHAVE_SYS_STAT_H=1 -DHAVE_STDLIB_H=1 -DHAVE_STRING_H=1 -DHAVE_MEMORY_H=1 -DHAVE_STRINGS_H=1 -DHAVE_INTTYPES_H=1 -DHAVE_STDINT_H=1 -DHAVE_UNISTD_H=1 -DHAVE_DLFCN_H=1 -DLT_OBJDIR=\".libs/\" -DHAVE_OPENMP=1 -DHAVE_CXX11=1 -DHAVE_CXX_THREAD=1 -DHAVE_BOOST=/\*\*/ -DHAVE_PYTHON=\"2.7\" -DHAVE_BOOST_PYTHON=/\*\*/ -I. -I.. -I/usr/include -DHAVE_SYS_STDTYPES_H=0 -DHAVE_GNOME_CANVAS -pthread -I/usr/include/libgnomecanvas-2.0 -I/usr/include/pango-1.0 -I/usr/include/gail-1.0 -I/usr/include/libart-2.0 -I/usr/include/gtk-2.0 -I/usr/include/fribidi -I/usr/include/glib-2.0 -I/usr/lib64/glib-2.0/include -I/usr/include/harfbuzz -I/usr/include/freetype2 -I/usr/include/libpng15 -I/usr/include/uuid -I/usr/include/atk-1.0 -I/usr/lib64/gtk-2.0/include -I/usr/include/cairo -I/usr/include/gdk-pixbuf-2.0 -I/usr/include/pixman-1 -I/usr/include/libdrm -DCOOT_USE_GTK2_INTERFACE -pthread -I/usr/include/gtkglext-1.0 -I/usr/lib64/gtkglext-1.0/include -I/usr/include/gtk-2.0 -I/usr/lib64/gtk-2.0/include -I/usr/include/pango-1.0 -I/usr/include/gdk-pixbuf-2.0 -I/usr/include/fribidi -I/usr/include/glib-2.0 -I/usr/lib64/glib-2.0/include -I/usr/include/cairo -I/usr/include/harfbuzz -I/usr/include/freetype2 -I/usr/include/libpng15 -I/usr/include/uuid -I/usr/include/pixman-1 -I/usr/include/libdrm -I/usr/include/atk-1.0 -pthread -I/usr/include/gtk-2.0 -I/usr/lib64/gtk-2.0/include -I/usr/include/atk-1.0 -I/usr/include/cairo -I/usr/include/gdk-pixbuf-2.0 -I/usr/include/pango-1.0 -I/usr/include/fribidi -I/usr/include/glib-2.0 -I/usr/lib64/glib-2.0/include -I/usr/include/harfbuzz -I/usr/include/freetype2 -I/usr/include/libpng15 -I/usr/include/uuid -I/usr/include/pixman-1 -I/usr/include/libdrm -DHAVE_SSMLIB -I/usr/include -DUSE_SQLITE3 -DPKGDATADIR='"/home/gmadise1/COOT/coot-0.9.6/share/coot"' -DPACKAGE_LOCALE_DIR='"/home/gmadise1/COOT/coot-0.9.6/share/coot/locale"' -DPKGPYTHONDIR='"/home/gmadise1/COOT/coot-0.9.6/lib/python2.7/site-packages/coot"' -DDATADIR='"/home/gmadise1/COOT/coot-0.9.6/share"' -DCOOT_SYS_BUILD_TYPE='"Linux-x86_64-"' -DCOOT_BUILD_INFO_STRING='""' -DUSE_LIBCURL -DHAVE_SYS_STDTYPES_H=0 -I/usr/include/python2.7 -DHAVE_GSL -fopenmp -g -O -Wall -Wno-unused -std=c++11 -MT c-interface-curlew.o -MD -MP -MF .deps/c-interface-curlew.Tpo -c -o c-interface-curlew.o c-interface-curlew.cc c-interface-curlew.cc: In function ‘void curlew()’: c-interface-curlew.cc:139:19: error: aggregate ‘curlew()::stat buf’ has incomplete type and cannot be defined struct stat buf; ^ c-interface-curlew.cc:140:43: error: invalid use of incomplete type ‘struct curlew()::stat’ int istat = stat(dl_fn.c_str(), &buf); ^ c-interface-curlew.cc:139:14: error: forward declaration of ‘struct curlew()::stat’ struct stat buf; ^ make[1]: *** [c-interface-curlew.o] Error 1 make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/gmadise1/COOT/build-0.9.6/src' make: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 Gordon Madise gmad...@rchsolutions.com | Cell (908) 875-7008 RCH Solutions www.RCHSolutions.com<http://www.rchsolutions.com/> 610.902.0403<tel:610.902.0403> or 617.674.2029<tel:617.674.2029> Philadelphia • Boston • La Jolla • Brussel [cid:faf9072b-651b-4b0d-81b5-994a42bde4f0] ######################################################################## To unsubscribe from the COOT list, click the following link: https://www.jiscmail.ac.uk/cgi-bin/WA-JISC.exe?SUBED1=COOT&A=1 This message was issued to members of www.jiscmail.ac.uk/COOT, a mailing list hosted by www.jiscmail.ac.uk, terms & conditions are available at https://www.jiscmail.ac.uk/policyandsecurity/
