Hi all,
This may be a simple fix or maybe impossible, but I can't find a solution and
am hoping somebody can help...
I am trying to fix some Ramachandran outliers while refining, and I see these
spheres (see attachment) at the C alpha of each residue, which I think can be
coloured red or green, and I have assumed are Ramachandran indicators for each
residue.
That's right.
I mostly get by not being able to see the colour of these but it would be
nice if I could tailor them to different colours (like you can with maps
colours).
Is this possible?
Not in this version of Coot, but the validation colour-scheme is being
overhauled in the new version. Also, I've read that changing the
material can help - so now green/good is shiny and red/bad is dull. At
some stage I hope to replace shiny green balls with granny smiths and
dull red balls with rotten tomatoes, but my 3d modelling skills are not
so great. If you (or anyone who's a Brady Johnston fan) wishes to help
out, you can create Blender blend files (or glTFs) for these.
Paul.
