Thank you, Paul, for your feedback, and thank you, Yoshitaka, for the homebrew Coot version.

Is it possible to >> customize the Coot v1 interface in such a way? > Yes I think so (depending on what exactly you would want to do) > I had in mind the customization of the toolbar as you reported in one of your « old coot » videos (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WD8dkB15eGs) From my trials with Coot v1, I’d like shortcuts for the « Add an atom », « Find waters » tools. Indeed, I assume that the « Place atom at pointer » tool from the old Coot is now « Add an atom ». However, it is not directly available in the interface, and common counter ions such as SO4 are not readily available. Finally, in « old Coot » I like the key-binding combination "g/w" to add additional water molecules. However, in Coot v1 the w shortcut is now dedicated to the « Move forward » option. Would it be possible to customize such shortcuts or add a new one for water?
