Dear Coot developers, I am using Coot 1.3.1 on a MacBook Air M2 (2022, Apple Silicon), installed via Homebrew.
I am experiencing a problem when using Coot with an external monitor in extended desktop mode. When Coot is running on the internal MacBook display, selecting a residue and using the middle mouse button to center the view works correctly. However, when I move the Coot window to the external monitor, the mouse click position seems to be shifted: selecting a residue does not bring the view to the correct location. Interestingly, the problem disappears when using "Mirror Displays" mode, suggesting that it may be related to multi-monitor coordinate scaling or HiDPI handling on macOS. I have already tried: - changing the display resolutions; - using the default macOS display settings; - launching Coot with: GDK_SCALE=1 coot GDK_SCALE=1 GDK_DPI_SCALE=1 coot but the issue remains. My Coot version information is: Coot 1.3.1 Could you please let me know if this is a known issue or if there is a recommended workaround? Thank you very much for your help.
