It seems that backup files aren’t written as frequently as I expect, so that clicking undo can reverse more than the most recent edit to my model. As an example, I just renamed and reordered some chains in my structure, saved the file, and then fit a rotamer to density. I didn’t like the result, so I hit undo - and the chains reverted to their previous id/order. This was obvious, but other “oversteps” might not be so obvious and could be missed. Yes, that sounds about right. A lot of this sort of code was scraped and written from scratch. I may have missed a few types of modifications. I will take a look at the above recipe and see what's missing. Thanks! I haven’t noticed a pattern of modification types that don’t get backed up. You can instead do a "Quick Save As" Ctrl-s which forces a save as (not a backup). King et al. has been all over my news feed today. We must have different news feeds - I’m not sure what I’m missing Paul. ________________________________ To unsubscribe from the COOT list, click the following link: https://www.jiscmail.ac.uk/cgi-bin/WA-JISC.exe?SUBED1=COOT&A=1<https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://www.jiscmail.ac.uk/cgi-bin/WA-JISC.exe?SUBED1=COOT&A=1__;!!G92We9drHetJ8EofZw!clEZTjRc_d9AES3Bpz7y6RD0FUw_vpBAYU6niS-oqxZQfSpLkfNsZjVE-IQrEAzkNsuvJ2DihUmkwiJ9Kg_0xDoN1dnXqie8C8Y$> ######################################################################## To unsubscribe from the COOT list, click the following link: https://www.jiscmail.ac.uk/cgi-bin/WA-JISC.exe?SUBED1=COOT&A=1 This message was issued to members of www.jiscmail.ac.uk/COOT, a mailing list hosted by www.jiscmail.ac.uk, terms & conditions are available at https://www.jiscmail.ac.uk/policyandsecurity/
