Dear authors, While preparing the shepherd write-up, I came across the following questions and nits for the document (chair hat off):
1. Shouldn't there be a normative reference to the definition of base64url, which is currently used in section 5 without a definition? 2. Again in section 5, is there the possibility for confusion between empty string and nil string? If so, please emphasize it. 3. Abstract is too short according to recommendations in https://authors.ietf.org/required-content#abstract. I am fine with it, but please consider whether some extra information might be useful there. 4. One of the author’s emails is obsolete as they were using their employer’s email (they told me that we can use [email protected]), which does not match https://authors.ietf.org/required-content#authors-addresses recommendations. That is still the case for half of the people, so please consider updating your emails if they might not be stable over the longer term. Once I receive the reply/update regarding these points, I will update my shepherd write-up if necessary and send the draft for publication. Thanks, Ivo
