Jim and Edward, It is unlikely that any student records for Dunnamore National School, near Cookstown, Kildress Parish, Co. Tyrone have survived; such a timeline is so early in Ireland (pre Famine); generally records of student enrolments do not commence until the late nineteenth century. It is difficult that such records have survived, but will be archived in PRONI, Belfast Referring to the PRONI e-catalogue www.nidirect.gov.uk/services/search-pronis-ecatalogue<http://www.nidirect.gov.uk/services/search-pronis-ecatalogue> I see a downable reference to a grant aid application made in 1838 which includes signatures of some parents. Hopes this is of some assistance,

I saw the write up on it by Burns. He could not add anything to what was already written. My question is are any of the early records from the school still in existence (1828 - 1834 time frame). Any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Ed Kane
