Well Chris, that is very difficult to say! Hmmmmmmmm "as they are today"?? Well, I have known a great many Masons and Knights of Columbus members in my almost 85 years. While I cannot say any of them were Anti-Catholic OR Anti-Protestant, I would agree that Protestants would not be welcomed by KofC nor Catholics by the Masonic Order.
Additionally, I am fully aware of SEVERAL ancestors of mine who swapped religions. Therefore, you might find your ancestor anywhere would be my suggestion.
