Hello All: Last night I definitely confirmed that my wing tanks are the 8 gallon tanks. In addition I like another list member seem to have 2 or so gallons of unusable fuel left in my left tank.
I have serial 3034 and my left tank does have the fuel gage in it. I flew my wing tanks out of fuel. When I landed, I used my fuel stick to measure about 2 or so gallons left in the left tank. I then watched very carefully when I filled up. My right tank when filled as full as I dared, stopped at 7.8 gallons on the meter. The total fillup with the left over fuel in the left tank was 13.3 gallons. This seems to be my total useable fuel in my wing tanks. The other list member who also had left over fuel in his left tank found a "U" bend in the cross connector tube that left the unusable fuel. I haven't torn out my floor boards yet to confirm what I have. I WILL have this sorted out before the good wx and long x-countries get here.
