Personally, I would drain all fuel out. Go to the pump and refill tanks. I drop the drain cock out completely. ( reinstall before refilling). The restriction will cause poor readings. A dip stick is no way to get an actual reading. Sorry to say that but your working with mini amount of fuel and from a hole that away from the remaining fluid. Warren
