Andy,

According to the Service Manual for your model, it looks like 10 oz of
mineral oil is correct for servicing each of your two main landing gear
struts.

For my F-1A, I use Hydraulic fluid according to my book. I think it was
Mil
5606.

 The Pilot's Shop probably stocks some if you don't have the mineral oil.
