Recently the right rail, upon which the canopy on my Alon A-2 slides, split causing the canopy to pull away from the windshield. Apparently, the original design used only one latch per side on the rear portion of the canopy. Somehere along the line, a latch was added overhead in the center where the canopy meets the windshield. It was broken and unuseable when I bought the plane. We have contacted both Univair and Skyport for additional latches and neither one is able to supply them to us. Does anyone know where these latches can be obtained?
