----[Please read http://ercoupers.com/disclaimer.htm before following any advice in this forum.]---- Time to change the oil...what are the thoughts of the list regarding the weight and/or brand of oil? Got the tail raised on my 415C last week with the appropriate parts from Skyport and some help from two other pilots. Went from Bellville springs back to rubber spacers. The job wasn't that difficult, but the two metal spacers that came in the Skyport kit for correcting tail height w/double fork nose gear...those two little puppies needed some encouragement to get all the way to the seat at the top of the MLG. An arbor press made the job of getting the "rubber stack" compressed enough to get the retaining rings inside. I think I would just take it to a machine shop if I didn't have access to a good press. By the way, the Skyport instructions were excellent.
