Put some AeroShell 15W50 in it. My neighbors and I switched both of ours
at
the same time and they have been fine. If I recall correctly you live in
Colorado or somewhere out there. 40 weight gets real thick in cold
weather!
I am also pleased with the change in sounds that I have gotten, the
grinding
and tapping noises you can hear when you pull it back to about 600 rpm on
the ground (if you pay any attention.) Much quieter. Also it was not
weak
on the first takeoff of the day like it was with 50 weight. Somebody
will
probably get on here and recite the myths about multi-weight and switching
an old engine over. Don't believe them. Check out www.aeroshell.com,
click
aviation, and then click for their online library for the complete story
on
the 15W50. Glen Ward
