----[Please read http://ercoupers.com/disclaimer.htm before following any advice in this forum.]---- Hello Friends, On my '46 415D, the hot and ground wires from my battery are 4 guage and run through the 2 center holes on the right side of the firewall. The ground is wired straight to the engine. My A&P tells me that they need to be replaced, and he suggests running only the hot from the battery and grounding through the airframe to the engine mount. Naturally, I have questions ;). Have any of you noticed any problem with using the factory 6 Guage wire? Are coupes usually grounded through the airframe? Any help is much appreciated!
