----[Please read http://ercoupers.com/disclaimer.htm before following any advice in this forum.]---- Vince; In my limited experience, all vehicles I have owned or worked on have had the electrical system grounded through the frame (automotive or aircraft). I have had no problems with the standard Coupe electrical wiring which grounds the battery, near the battery box, to the airframe, and runs the positive lead to the starter terminal. A smaller wire brings power back into the cabin from the starter terminal to the ammeter.
