George I can appreciate your concern about the PORIS fuel tank sealer I mentioned. Yes, it is approved to adhere to aluminum and is guaranteed to be completely safe with all fuels. Because it possibly isn't approved by the FAA or there may be no STC on it, does not mean it is dangerous. In the past few years there are many products that are vastly superior to many of the old "approved" ones. Some common sense must be used, of course, as many of the old ways are still best. As I am going to great lengths in checking and restoring my coupe, I think the end product will be safe and fun to fly. As I am on the new Canadian Owner Maintenance category, I am allowed to use whatever I want on my plane. I know this will cause problems for some, but I feel my coupe will still be flying when many of the FAA certified planes have gone to aluminum heaven. If you want a ride, I only charge $20 Canadian (or $4 US) for a ride Jon Page 415-C #2675 --------------------------------- to unsubscribe send mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] ____________________________________________________________ T O P I C A -- Learn More.
