A good guess is that a nonelectric, wooden prop, unpainted coupe came out
of
the factory about 800lbs empty weight.  Add electrical system, metal prop,
radios, paint and you are probably up in the 860 to 885 range.  My
airplane
with metal wings, rudder pedals, double fork nose gear, oil filter (but no
paint) weighed in at 900lbs.

The legal weight limik for a 415C is 1260 while a 415D is 1400 and an alon
is 1450.
