Hi Guys, I have some free time the next couple of months and am looking for a project. I have a friend that has a cont 65 that came out of a J3 that I can get for a reasonable arrangement and an AP willing to supervise the rebuild. I was considering rebuilding the engine then finding an airplane to go around it (airknocker, or luscombe or something along those lines). My question is what is involved in converting 65 to a 75? My A&P says it will be about $6K to rebuild the engine right with new cylinders (and most everything else). Were can I find a rebuild/conversion guide?
