Here in San Jose you can only get 100LL. I run 100LL successfully in my
Alon with a C90. The additive you are looking for is "TCP." It is FAA
legal and available by mail order or from FBO's. While it may seem
expensive, you use only a small amount with each tank, handily dispensed
with a syringe supplied with the TCP - no fuss, no muss, no bother! TCP
is advertised a "lead scavenger." All I know is that I don't seem to
have fouling problems - but I also lean on the ground until I receive
takeoff clearance.
