For what it's worth, I've never used any additives
with 100LL. I try to fuel up with 80 whenever I can,
but accept 100LL (my only choice at home base) and
have used it without difficulty, and without
additives. I don't use auto fuel. You can avoid
fouling with 100LL if you run at higher power settings
(75% or more) and lean aggressively.
