Gary, do you have an O-200 engine? The engine is a C-75 0 SMOH

nobody
has snuck in a non-standard mount.) Nope

Check to make sure the control cables to the rudders are not connected
incorrectly. Control cables are correct and crossed

rudders not the ailerons.

I flew the coupe several times yesterday with the following thoughts,
1. When advancing the throttle, a quick advance gives a large left
turning condition, slower throttle advance gives considerably less.
2. It might be that the previous dozen times I always had a left
crosswind, can't remember.
3. Propeller might be pitched wrong, numbers stamped on it are 71x48,
71x44, and 71x42, unknown which is right, static rpm is 2150. Climb prop
is more aggressive than a cruise prop ie more thrust at lower speeds.
Cruise speed is a little low, don't know for sure, having airspeed
indicator problems also
4. Has been 10 years since I've flown an Ercoupe, probably don't remember
how they fly.
