Wayne:

I think the thing to do is start lobbing the FAA to take the rule to
1,300 lb gross.  This should put the Coupe in.

This is the comment period, so now is the time to comment.

I understand some of the proposal for speed and stall, however, I don't
know why the weight was selected.

Make sure when you do write to include the other Coupe items:
Stall/Spin resistant, Xwind ability, high speed landing, girls really
think they are cute and sexy.
