I'd have an oil analysis done on it. Best thing is to have a history of oil analysis, but lacking that, one data point is better than none. If anything out of the ordinary shows up, I'd give serious thought to an overhaul based on calendar time. 35 years is a long time to go without a peek inside. I tore down a C85 about 6 years ago that ran great, had great oil pressure, had great compression and used only a quart of oil in 12 hours. Oil analysis showed high copper, though. I found the center main bearing web cracked where the through studs threaded into the case. The center main bearing was floating in the case loose and I have no idea why it hadn't spun. ==^================================================================ This email was sent to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] EASY UNSUBSCRIBE click here: http://topica.com/u/?bz8Sid.bAhN69 Or send an email to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] T O P I C A -- Register now to manage your mail! http://www.topica.com/partner/tag02/register ==^================================================================
