Charlie,

I have a 47 CD, N94625. I also am relatively new to Ercoupes, bought mine
last July. Lets keep in touch as to the maintenance and parts. I have
already had a difficult time in locating Electrol nosegear (sort of unique
to our timeframe) parts. WHat do you use as a max load on your weight and
balance? Has your plane been modified to the 1400 lbs. limit? I look
forward to talking with you on this and othr things Ercoupe related.

change from Goodyear brakes on my 1947 415 CD?
Besides the expense, is it complicated and do you have to get new wheels
and all that stuff. As you can tell, I'm a novice. Am redoing my coupe
through a shop and have not broached the subject yet. My current brakes,
after servicing don't seem to want to hold. Replaced the cylinder and the
handle still comes up to the stop. So am thinking of going Cleveland.
Thanks All.
