I have seen mentioned recently the 30 gallon wing tank
STC in conjunction with an 0-200.

How was the lack of a mechanical fuel pump provision on 99% of
all 0-200 crankcases solved? The type certicate does say that
a side mounted fuel pump is approved for the 0-200, so was the case
machined for the pump? 

How difficult is the vacuum drive pump gear with the fuel pump
lobe to come by? After pricing impulse coupling magneto drive gears for
the small Continental I can just imagine how much a new one costs. :-(

The 30 gallon fuel tanks with an 0-200 would be a worthwhile thing.
