1.  My Coupe has had a McCauly metal prop on it since 1950, and does not
have any extra weights in the tail.  My friends and I just rebuilt
another Coupe which also has had a metal prop since the 1950's and it
also has no weights in the tail.  Bring your plane to a good shop and
have them weigh the plane and find where it's actual CG falls before you
add weights anywhere.
2.  We removed all of the grounding straps from my aileron hinges,
rudder hinges and elevator hinge.  We don't fly fast enough to build up
static electricity.
3.  I also don't know where you can look up AD's on the internet, but
any IA will have them on his/her microfiches (or, if high tech, on CD
ROM).
