A buddy and may buy a Coupe next week.  While we've both been flying since
the 1960's, neither of us has flown a coupe.  The one we're looking at is
a 46 C model the logs say it was converted to a D model, with the 1400
gross weight, in accordance with spec A-787.  Also has an 85 horse engine.
Is this conversion anything to worry about?
Wings were recovered in 1991, with the internal structure zinc chromated.
Should we be fairly comfortable about passing the corrossion inspection?
Any hints for the pre-buy inspection would be welcomed.  Thanks   Jerry
