Regarding email formatting-

Many people use the built-in mail client in Netscape, or their favorite
web
browser, for instance, to view their email. Netscape supports "rich
text", which means a user may view mail that is formatted. RTF, the rich
text format, is also complimented by these clients' ability to recognize
and
format utilizing HTML, the standard language for web pages. This
assumes, of course, that everyone is in a perfect world using a web
browser to read their email, or at least a client, such as Eudora Pro, to
view it. The browser "encodes" the messages in RTF and/or HTML, and
the client views it, just like a browser window.

The easiest thing to do is to turn off the HTML formatting (or RTF) at the
source. The sender of the email has the option in his or her
"Preferences" or "Options" to turn off the "send HTML" features. Then,
the recipient will receive only the plain text.

Also, the feature that allows Eudora Pro to activate links is because of
the program's built-in ability to identify a certain string of text, such
as
"http://www.pilot-jobs.com";. It will probably do the same if I type in an
email address, such as "[EMAIL PROTECTED]".

Hope this information proved useful.

Thanks and happy holidays to everyone!
Zach
