When we adjusted the trailing edge of my aileron we used two 1/2" x 1" furring strips (pine) about 2 feet long and clamped them to the trailing edge with two welding jaw Vise-Grip pliers in order to distribute the bend evenly. As Tom says, it only takes a tiny amount to get rid of wing heaviness. And only do it to one aileron, not both.
