Dan,

Good advice.

May I add one thing, Before bending the aelrions, make sure the controls
are
completely rigged by the book - especially the nose wheel adjustment.

If the nose wheel is cocked off to one side or the other when fluing
straingt
and level (or trying to), the nose wheel acts like a rudder.

After checking all rigging is in neutral - aelrions even with trailing
edges
of wings; rudders trainlin vertical stabilizer, control wheels level, etc.
;
then push the coupe along the gropund. Does it roll in a straight line ???
If
not adjust the nose wheel linkage properly so that it does.

This really makes a difference.

When I bought my coupe, all rigging was correct, but the nose wheel was
turned
about 5 degrees left. The plane flew in a crab, and was not very nice.
Correcting this raeally made a difference - and added about 10 mph to the
speed....

Another note : I have noticed secoupes with the aelrion hinges mounted on
top
of the wing ----Wrong --- The hinges mount underneath the wing.... On Top,
the
aelrions set about 3/16 inch above the wing, and must create tremendous
drag.....

Regards,

Harry
