Official information? Good question. However, it would be about 50 years old. You might try taking a GPS, a stopwatch and your altimeter and measure climb to climb at each 5 mph increment for your plane. At each 5 mph increment, according to your airspeed indicator: Start at 2500 msl, for example, and establish your climb. Start the stopwatch as your altimeter passes 3,000 feet. Stop the stopwatch as your altimeter passes 5,000 feet. Jot down the GPS actual speed corresponding to that airspeed. Let us know the results, please.
