Look ubder the baggage compartment, and you will find tyhe "mixer" - wieck's mechanism to produce the aeliron effect. It is quite an ingenious device and allows the aelrions to move different travesl. You are right Percy, the differential movement reduces adverse yaw , allowing the coupe to turn easily with out the "up Wing" creating more drag, as the airplane turns....
It is a nice solution, and combioned with 3 degrees of dihedrial - v shape of wing mounting - the combination makes the coupe fly nicely with coordinated rudders. Some ultralites utilize "excess dihedrial" to help solve the adverse yaw, without using any rudder. In a turn, the upper wing, already at an angle - even more of an angle when in a turn looses lift, as compared to the lower wing. Loss of lift, loss of drag = less adverse yaw... Hoipe this makes sense. Fly safe - have fun Harry
