There's a John Wright in the Chicago area that is one of the EOC Directors and has probably the most knowledge of anyone around. You should see what advice he can offer you. I'm sure it will be free since you can sign his name to all the paperwork ;-). Anyway, it'll probably cost about 4 to 5K for a paint job. That leaves the worth of the a/c w/o avionics in the 4 to 5K neighborhood. There are plenty of good flyers around for about 13K. I suggest you find one of those, or if the budget allows, get into an Alon or Mooney M-10. Good luck, and think with your brain and wallet, not with your heart! Al
