Congrats, Ed. My `coupe is ready to fly also, as am I. It came with todays' mail, that letter from OKC. It was with a certain sense of resignation that I carefully opened it. Even got a clean knife out of the silverware drawer. Couldn't believe that they granted me the special issuence of the class 3 medical. Like Gene Autrey used to sing: "Back in the Saddle Again!"
So I am going to be at the EAA Arlington Fly-in. We'll all have to make this pioneering Ercoupe Gathering a great one. I hope it will set the stage for many more, even better ones. Boy, am I motivated to get out the airplane polish!! Percy in Portland (If closer I'd pick up yours WITH you)
