There is an effective modification that is available for the oil breather
system on the cont. Engines. The brass elbow that screws into the engine
sit
just where the rotation of the crnkshaft throws oil toward the elbow and
vent
line.. This allows oil to be blown out of the crankcase, even without
minor
"blow-by". The modification involves soldering a short pipe into the
elbow,
with holes drilled into the bottom of the pipe. This allows ventalation
wnd
also allows the oil to drain out of the pipe, instead of being blown out
the
vent line. Works great.

I see in skyport a kit FMK28 "Oil Breather Modification" @ $55.20. This
may be
the modified elbow but I am not sure. Seems like a lot of $ for a simple
pile
extension , but maybe another system or - That's just whjatit costs, these
days...
