When I started flying the coupe I had a little trouble getting used to the stromberg carb. First was the not very effective misture control then, no idle cut off . Is it normal for the throttle to be quite nonlinear, I have to pull it quite a way back before the engine rpm starts to decrease also I have to add power slowly or the engine will stumble slightly. I use the fuel valve under the header tank to stop the engine after flight.
