Has anyone heard of such a thing? Are there any bigger engines that you can put in a coupe?

Tom,
You are probably thinking of the Franklin which has been made in Poland for a number of years now, BTW a 150HP Franklin was used in the Coupe on an experimental basis, big problem was it just kept climbing, top speed wasn't all that much better but it must have climbed like a homesick angel. There was also talk of getting the Continental O-240 STC'ed for the coupe but there seems to have been a lost of interest, probably due to the cost. Me I would be real happy if someone would just get an STC for the Lycoming O-235. Damn near bullet proof and a nice jump in power.
