Glenn: My suggestion is buy a good canopy cover and then you will be able to take it with you on cross countries. I have one made by Custom Cabin Covers (Tony Brazier, Ocala, FL, 352-237-1811). The price was about $99 and does a good job protecting the cockpit area of my Forney from the rains we are experiencing from El Ninio here in Arizona this year.
