GW, this is all so simple. I'm amazed that nobody has mentioned it yet. 
Or maybe I just didn't see it. It certainly won't require a rocket 
scientist to determine exactly what went wrong. You simply landed on 
your nose wheel. You touched down on the nose wheel first and sent the 
craft into the oscillations. The mistake you made was riding it out. It 
would has been so easy to simply power up and try again if you had 
enough runway left, or simply go around! That my friend would have 
avoided the crash entirely. It had absolutely nothing to do with your 
airplane. This would have happened to any and all nosewheel planes. It's 
your flying skills my friend, not the plane. And now you have a REAL 
handful with a taildradder. END OF STORY!
